Mount View Institute of Law & Technology (MILT), affiliated with Rajarshi Janak University, offers the following programs:
1. Bachelor of Arts Bachelor of Laws (B.A.LL.B):

  • Duration: Five years
  • Number of Seats: 40
  • Eligibility: Successful completion of higher secondary education or equivalent with a minimum GPA/percentage requirement as per university guidelines
  • Overview: The B.A.LL.B program provides a comprehensive understanding of both arts and law disciplines. It equips students with the knowledge and skills required to pursue a career in law, combining legal education with a broader understanding of the humanities.

Course Outlines
The course covers a wide range of subjects and topics, including:

  1. Constitutional Law
  2. Criminal Law
  3. Contract Law
  4. Legal Method and Legal Research
  5. Administrative Law
  6. Family Law
  7. International Law
  8. Property Law
  9. Human Rights Law

Duration
The B.A.LL.B program is a five-year full-time course. The program is designed to provide students with a solid foundation in arts subjects and legal principles within the specified timeframe.
Objectives
The primary objectives of the program are as follows:

  1. To provide students with a comprehensive understanding of legal principles and concepts.
  2. To develop analytical and critical thinking skills necessary for legal analysis and reasoning.
  3. To enhance research and communication skills in the field of law.
  4. To foster an understanding of the relationship between law and society.
  5. To prepare students for the legal profession and other related career paths.

Eligibility
Eligibility for the B.A.LL.B program includes:

  1. Completion of the 11th and 12th standard with a minimum of C+ GPA or 50% marks in all subjects.
  2. Completion of A-level examination with a minimum of 3.5 GCE.
  3. Students awaiting the results of their Grade 12 examinations are also eligible to apply. Admission for such candidates will be provisional, subject to meeting the minimum eligibility criteria.

Entrance Modality
The entrance examination process for the program is divided into three different headings:

  1. Credentials of Co-curricular & Academic Activities: Evaluation of co-curricular and academic activities carries a weightage of 5 marks.
  2. Written Examination:
    • Very Short Questions: 20 marks
    • Long Questions: 35 marks
    • Short Questions: 10 marks
    • Total: 65 marks
  3. Interview: The interview carries a weightage of 40 marks.

Only candidates who pass the written examination will be eligible for the interview round. To qualify for the interview, applicants must obtain a minimum of 45% in the written examination.

Scope
Graduates of the B.A.LL.B program have diverse career opportunities, including:

  1. Legal Practitioner: Graduates can practice law as advocates or lawyers, representing clients in various legal matters.
  2. Corporate Counsel: Graduates can work as in-house legal advisors for corporations, providing legal advice and guidance on business-related matters.
  3. Legal Researcher: Graduates can pursue careers in legal research, conducting in-depth studies on legal issues and contributing to legal scholarship.
  4. Judiciary Services: Graduates can appear for judiciary service examinations and pursue a career as judges or judicial officers.
  5. Legal Consultant: Graduates can offer consultancy services on legal matters, providing expertise to individuals, organizations, and government bodies.


For B.Sc. CSIT Program:
Eligibility
Students should have performed well in the entrance test conducted by Rajarshi Janak University and internal evaluation conducted by Mount View Institute of Law & Technology (MILT)    

Admission Guidelines
The candidate should meet any of the following criteria:

  • 10+2 Physical Group with Mathematics of 100 Marks and minimum Grade "C" in every subject.
  • A-Level Science Physics Group with Maths of 100 marks and minimum Grade "D" in every subject.
  • 3 years Diploma in Engineering from CTEVT with Physics and Math.
  • ISC Physics Group with Maths of 100 marks- minimum second division or equivalent.

Admission Guidelines
Students are required to pass the entrance examination conducted by Mount View Institute of Law & Technology (MILT).
